Nice day to log some miles on the bike with the new seat.
Just showing off my new ride… I picked up a “brand new” 2014 TriCross X3 from my LBS.
I was in the market for a new ride and was trying to buy a “Salsa Vaya” from another “LBS” until I found out how difficult it is to get a “Salsa” in a down market. I stumbled across a shop that had a surplus inventory of the now discontinued “Specialized TriCross.” I really couldn’t go wrong for under $800 dollars. In the first few months I’m impressed with the ride and the build quality, although the factory seat is not very comfortable “already replaced with a Brooks B17.” Finding a new bike thats two years old is like getting a concert T-shirt from your youth at a local thrift store.
